The Amazing Spider-Man

Recommended Posts

Mortal Kombat > Spider-man 3. ill give you armageddon, though.

Axel - i wish theydve done some kinda makeup for Goblin in spidey 1, im assuming they tried & couldn't make it work though. gonna have to see his Lizard in action before making a call on just how fantastic he is, though.

They did try and it was friggin' BRILLIANT.

I coulda swore I posted this before, but oh well.

I'm pretty sure I comment on this, but the issue is that that mask looks too good. I would sooner buy that as a real goblin than believe it is a mask that Norman Osburne casually puts on and takes off each night.

That said, I think I'd rather they have gone with that mask than the Power Rangers mask from Spidey 1.

Interview with the director.

*edit*

It's a VERY spoiler filled interview.

All the Spidey4 film footage released so far in one clip--25 minutes of the film edited in chronological order. I had to tap out around 20 minutes in when it got to the big showdown. It looks great though. I am definitely seeing this in IMAX 3D.

Just came back from this and it was great! Say what you will about Raimi getting screwed, and how unnecessary this may be, but this was a damn good Spider-Man movie. Also came with the best Stan Lee cameo yet.

Also, here's the next possible Norman Osborne. Michael Massee was credited as Man in Shadows during a mid credits clip. 11283-16972.gif

Watched it this afternoon. It was a solid Spidey-flick. Not without it's flaws, but on par with the first two Spidey-flicks. Of course it was pretty annoying having to sit through the origin story again, but it was a good retelling. Sony will certainly make a sequel with the same cast (minus the characters that died), and I think that with the origin behind them, they could tell put together another solid Spidey-flick or two.

I still just don't think it looks like a very good movie. Critics and Hondonians will probably tell me how wrong I am, and Im sure it's fun and all, but I remainnever unconvinced. I bet it's real pretty to look at though.

Totally agree. But, I was wrong about the darknight returns so I'll never make that mistake again.

The good news is you don't have to go see it. It's not gonna blow your mind like Star Wars or The Matrix the first time you watched them, so you'll probably be happier not seeing it and convinced you dodged a bullet by skipping out on it.
