Others: I want you to love me covered by Letters to cleo (from 10 things I hate about you flick) Pressure drop covered by the Specials Boys of SUmmer done by The Ataris Monster Mash by The Misfits
Reverend Jax
I can neither confirm nor deny that Pennywise did a cover of Mrs Robinson, but I can confirmt hat the most popular cover of Mrs Robinson in teh 90's was by the Lemonheads. The Lemonheads were too happy for the age of Nirvana, btu they rocked noththeless.
Ganny McVagflaps
Evan Dando did less heroin than Kurt Cobain Kurt Cobain did less crack than Evan Dando More crack plus less heroin = poppier tunes, but less popularity in the early-mid '90s. Senshik
More... Metro covered by System of a Down. Originally done by Berlin. I loved the original as well so when system of a down remade it i was skeptical at first... after hearing it I thought the new sound was great. Down Load both if you like 80s and rock. Blue Monday remade by Orgy. Awesome remake, t'was well done.

Reverend Jax
Evan Dando was too busy bing in love with the fact that he was acting like he hating being a rock star idol to start a heroin habit. Two SOAD cover superior to Metro: Swonblind (originally my Black Sabbath) and Shame (on a Nigga) (originally by Wu-Tang Clan). I don't remember hearing Nick's opinion on their cover of Shame, but I doubt he likes it better than the original. The Zelda song frequently circulated on the Internet that is attributed to SOAD is in fact not SOAD's work. It is by a band called The Rabbit Joint. It's not hard to see why it's misattributed to SOAD, but it's not them. Ahh..Fuck the Police by Rage...the memories....

Jont
foo fighters - requiemon a spin off of this topic, i do think the worst cover song would have to be boyzones rendition of fast car, by tracy chapman... butchery at its finest I was going to contest that they must have done worse cover songs than that, but I realised doing that would unlock to many memories that are supposed to stay hidden. The Slits did an amazing cover of Heard it Through the grapevine, I may have posted it on this thread already, but now you can hear it on Myspace, just listen to it. http://www.myspace.com/theslitz

On youtube, Paul Anka has only one friend, and if I'm not mistaken, "Tom" is your automatic friend for being on myspace. Well I saw Neil Young's myspace page I recall it having like 80,000 friends.
