King of Snake
Joey Santiago, Johny Marr. Of the current crop, Omar Rodriguez, Rod Jones, Matt Bellamy. :D :D
DA JUDGE
Aziz Ibrahim is one i would have voted for and no Tim Buckley!?!
MyLeakyBucket
Good call with Santiago KoS. That man could make inhuman noises with his guitar. Matt Bellamy is the dogs bollocks as well, very talented young man. Tim Wheeler? Oh yeah. Major Matt Mason USA. I keep plugging this guy (NY musician in anti-folk movement) but no-one responds. Someone please take the time to download some stuff and give us a reaction. Please.

BigChiefSlapaho
Not many people remember Duane Allman & the Allman Brothers. Duane was amazing, especially on the slide. I have most of their albums as well as Derrick & the Dominoes w/ Eric Clapton. Incredible team up.
The NZA
I second chief's motion for the Allman Brothers, great band. Shame i keep associatin "Jessica" with a damn Publix commerical tho.
JunkerSeed
The Edge from U2 is sort of underrated. When people think U2, they pretty much just think Bono, but they wouldn't be half as good without the Edge. He has a really original style of playing, and some of the best riffs and solos I've heard. MyLeakyBucket
A world without U2. Count me in. ;)
DA JUDGE
LOL, same here! The world needs U2 like i need runny shite everyday! I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Nick Drake, any fans?

MyLeakyBucket
Hehe. I need a bumper sticker on my ass that says "Musical Snob: Watch Out!". Don't really know much Nick Drake. Sorry Judge can't really help you there.
Reverend Jax
The fact that he has gone unmentioned is proof he is underrated. Not just for skill, but for versitillity, I nominatee Frank Zappa for all-time king of underrated guitar wanker.
DA JUDGE
Very good call JMT's! I clean forgot about Mr.Zappa. Has Ry Cooder been given a mention yet too? Who Are The Brain Police?
MyLeakyBucket
What about the guitarist from Black Label Society? The name escapes me. He's damn good.
Reverend Jax
John Petrucci of Dream Theater and Michael Romeo of Symphony X just blow mind with the things they can do with 6 strings and a pick.
