The NZA
‘Dexter’ Shocker: Michael C. Hall to Return for ‘Resurrection’ Sequel Series and Lend Voiceover to ‘Original Sin’ Prequel At Comic-Con, Paramount+ announced Michael C. Hall will narrate the 'Dexter: Original Sin' and return for a sequel series. "Dexter" fans got an exciting surprise at Comic-Con's panel for the prequel series, "Original Sin." Not only is original star Michael C. Hall set to narrate the prequel series, but he'll be back on screen in an all new sequel series, "Dexter: Resurrection." "We are thrilled to have the brilliant Michael C. Hall reprise his iconic role as Dexter Morgan in Showtime's most successful series ever," said Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global Co-CEO, of the new series. "While 'Dexter: Ressurection' will appeal to the tens of millions of longtime fans, 'Dexter: Original Sin' will introduce a whole new generation of viewers into this iconic series by starting from the beginning, which is sure to satisfy existing audiences as well." The original "Dexter" aired on Showtime from 2006 to 2013, followed by "Dexter: New Blood" in 2021, which picked up 10 years after the original finale. "Resurrection" will be a sequel series to "New Blood," taking place in present day. It will debut in Summer 2025. Additionally, previous seasons of both shows are available for subscribers on Paramount+ with the Paramount+ with Showtime plan.
