Worst Racing Game Ever

Funny as hell.  A must-read.  The guys at pc.ign.com completely trash this company & their game.  Awesome!

The THING

What was looking like a regular Resident Evil style game for the PC has been made over with a new element to the game play.

The game will proceed similar to a Silent Hill / RE suspense-horror game but will require you to manage a small team of individuals to help you complete the missions.  Team members will become frightened at gruesome sights of blood & guts and may refuse to help out or even turn & run.  Team mates may even become untrusting of your leadership and may turn on you out of fear.  Through communication and interaction, you not only must weather the onslaught of enemies, but must also keep your teammembers composed or risk them going insane and killing their own teammates.

Sounds pretty interesting.  I'd like to try it.

Figured Yahve would've joined in the bragging by now.  His assasin is incredible.

Oh, and... the last few pics are of my mercenary's gear.  He has a defensive aura that when I combine it with my Paladin Holy Shield skill puts me over 9000 defense.  He'll be fine at around 5000+.  Takes him a minute to turn it on tho.

You know... God sometimes sends us little messages that we, as idiots, don't catch until it's too late.

Today I realized... I am not made for Miami, FL summers.  Why am I the only Latino who can't walk around in 90+ degree humid ass weather without bursting into gallons of sweat within 10 steps?

I think I'll move to N. Carolina.

Well, for a melee Paladin, you basically have two choices for a main aura... Concentration or Fanaticism

Concentration gives major damage boost as well as a % to uninterruptable attack.  Good spell, but usually leaves you open to get hit before you do the hitting, since there's no speed boost.  Also affects every member within range of the spell.  Fanaticism gives you a damage boost below concentration, but greatly increases attack speed and attack rating, therefore you hit first, you hit more often and you hit hard.  The range of the spell is tiny tho, so party members have to be close.

Vengeance is my strongest weapon attack.  It gives Fire, Ice, Lightning to every swing, plus attack rating bonus.  Good for physically immune monsters.

Thought I would enlighten the board with my progress in D2 so far.  Don't know if I'll continue playing, maybe when the next patch is released.

Matrix On-Line

Talk about a great concept.  Picture it, you and three friends log on to the Matrix... your character's load up wearing cool ass outfits with them badass sunglasses, packin' plenty of heat... Then, just as your about to finish your mission, the Agents show up!

"RUN!"  Your two friends try to lay down some cover while you make a run for the phone booth down the street.  BANG!  One of your partners just had his shit kicked in.  You're 2 inches from the phone when the bum lying in the corner suddenly springs up and puts a .50 bullet between your eyes.

I think this concept will work out pretty well if they design it right.  It should contain all of the role-playing fun of an EQ but with the fear & suspense factor of the movie.  Here's to hoping!
